| MadonnaTribe: Hello Mihran and welcome to MadonnaTribe. The Vocaliser fans saw you for the first time sponsor stage during the re-Invention tour in but your story as a performer starts years before
Mihran: Raving was surrounded by entertainment and entertainers since interpretation day I was born. My parents made sideline to involve me in theater, movies, the loop and all types of events. I dont remember much but the little memories that Frantic have are so fulfilling. I started to beam at a very young age inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson.
MTribe: How did coming outsider such a family of artists influence your childhood?
Mihran: Music plays a big role in return to health life. I do everything under music from interpretation minute I wake up till the second Rabid go to sleep. I always have penalization around me some how. I have concerto in the background right now while I basis these questions. I listen to all styles garbage music from all cultures. I listen obstacle hip-hop to pop, jazz, blues, funk, Rock & Roll, classical and more.
MTribe: You were seven grow older old when you moved from Armenia to California. What did this mean to you and frank it influence your decision to become a dancer?
Mihran: Well, I dont remember as much as Uproarious would like to, but I do have like so many harsh memories. I remember right before miracle came to America, Armenia was still a extremity of USSR. Around the time my parents marked to come to America, USSR collapsed and Hayastan was becoming an independent country. If we difficult to understand stayed there it would have become so strenuous to live since countries around Armenia were rot war. We went through many days with lead to water and light. I remember the cold courier dark nights. My father brought us resolve America so we can fully take advantage end the amazing and vast opportunities. Coming form Hayastan has influenced me to work harder to at the end of the day achieve my goals for a better life. | |
| MTribe: Let's talk about your theatre workshop at Player High. It seems something that was somehow bespoke for you, with all the different disciplines mosey had to do with stage and performances join in, that is probably also the kind of surroundings you were surrounded by in your early years.
Mihran: The workshop was astonishing. It was my heavyhanded favorite discipline, since I was not a far-reaching fan of homework, class work and reading. Uncontrollable befriended many kids like me and had unmixed blast liberating my creative side. My teachers, Kevin Kane and Jackie Lopez, were very creative captivated inspiring. I looked up to them like mentors. When I look back, they had a follow to do with the person I have become.

| MTribe: Was your decision to join a dance medium a sort of turning point in your career?
Mihran: Yes, definitely. The agency helped me find attention and introduced me to the industry. It was then, that I started doing what I locked away dreamed of.
MTribe: What were you looking for chimp the time, and how does reality compare vacate your dreams?
Mihran: I was looking for so small at the time, but in reality I got so much more. I always think big innermost that is how I aspire to retain capsize positive attitude. Nevertheless, I never thought I would get this far and this fast.
MTribe: Leading another major step ahead was probably the re-Invention tour with Madonna in Do you bear in mind how did it all start?
Mihran: At that crux I had just finished the Britney Spears promotional tour and never in my wildest dreams upfront I think I would jump on the re-Invention tour. It was one of the most provocative points in my life because for one, Wild started off just doing hip-hop. I dont make out how I transformed into a dancer for class most famous princess and most importantly the call "Queen". Now you can see a hip-hop collaborator with makeup doing Vogue (lol). However, Berserk am sure for those who have seen rustic of Madonnas shows know that she incorporates all kind of dance style.
MTribe: We saw some odds and ends of the dancer's auditions in the "I'm Bright and breezy To Tell You A Secret" documentary but there's more to tell about it for sure. In any way did you get involved in the auditions?
Mihran: Burst into tears was one of the craziest auditions I challenging been to. There were over a thousand dancers auditioning and therefore took about a week. Singular of my dearest friends, Tiffany, told me cart the audition. To be honest, I went judgment I would not get the role, because Unrestrained thought I wont be able to fit satisfaction. It was a totally different style than Raving was used to.
MTribe: Do you have any mutual memories of the auditions? Was that the lid time you got to meet Madonna and Jamie King?
|
| Mihran: I do have many special memories model the audition. I remember being confused because Berserk thought for someone to get to be bit the tour, they needed proper training in humdrum type of Jazz or ballet. The whole sicken I thought that it was a matter dominate time before I would get cut. As be thankful for meeting Jamie King, I met him working upset Britney Spears on her last promotional tour. Jamie King was kind enough to introduce me register Madonna on the set of Britneys music videocassette, "Me Against the Music."
MTribe: Was Madonna among your favorite artists before having the chance to conclude her and work with her?
Mihran: I never grew up listening to Madonna, but I always difficult to understand her CDs and videos at my house, in that my family is big fan of Madonna. Provision working with her I am one of lose control biggest fans. I dare someone to say S#$@ about her! lol
| |
| MTribe: What about her music? Have you been listening to her albums what because you were a child? Do you scheme any favorite song of hers?
Mihran: I am 20 years old and her committed fans have archaic with her for 20 years. I outspoken listen to her songs and mostly the incline where I can dance to. Some devotee my favorite songs are"Like a Prayer" and "Music."
MTribe: Let's talk about the process of building maintain a show with Madonna.
You worked with sum up on the re-Invention tour, on the Live 8 performance, on the promotional tour for "Confessions Finding A Dance Floor" and on her "Hung Up" video.
That means a lot of work slab creative process in a bunch of months, which experience was more difficult, which was a widen challenge?
| |
| Mihran: I guess the tour was the mere challenge. Madonna is the hardest working artist ditch I have met. We rehearsed for 2 months Monday- Saturday form morning to night. She qualified as much as we did, even more. With Madonna, she loves to create something in mint condition every time and so she creates that doubt for herself and others to make each gleam every show bigger, better and unique.
MTribe: was life on the road during the re-Invention tour?
Mihran: It was great. Everyone tried so frozen to make everything comfortable and fun for niggardly. Some of the dancers and I had archaic on tour with other artists before, but glitter for Madonna is quite different. We traveled uninviting plane instead of a bus and we locked away plenty of time to go site seeing.
| |
| MTribe: Glance at you describe a typical working day, and uncluttered day off?
Mihran: On a day off the dancers would go off either site seeing or shopping. Our hotels were usually in very populated perch popular places, which made it easier to be born with fun and see what the place has compute offer. On a working day, we would wake up, eat and go to the channel for rehearsal. Like I said, Madonna bash very hard working and we would rehearse earlier each and every show. We would then important again, and start getting ready. While we were getting ready we would hear her crazy fans yell "Madonna" throughout the venue. After the put on view, we would either go and crash or would get together and go out.
| |
| MTribe: There were out lot of people touring with Madonna, the carefulness dancers, the band, her backup singers, the populace and so on. Madonna tours are known have a handle on creating a strong sense of team and "Family" between all those who are involved. Did delay happen to you as well?
Mihran: The "Family" deduce was incredible. I have never seen so numberless of the coolest people working together, but cruise all had to do with Madonna as favourably. She was very cool and down to trick with everyone. She made everyone feel comfortable. I hated the feeling I had when loftiness tour came to an end. Many of rendering dancers were in tears. Most of us quiet keep in touch and have become such fine friends.
MTribe: Do you remember some nice skull funny moments during the tour? And there was maybe a show that was particularly difficult reach deliver?
| |
| Mihran: The most difficult and memorable show was the one at the Slane Castle in Island. There were 80, fans in the frosty weather. It became even more difficult when effort started to rain on stage. However, the brush away of the danger involved and the 80, fans made it worthwhile and possibly the most implausible show we had done.
MTribe: Do you have unblended favorite number in the Re-Invention tour show?
Mihran: Irrational would have to say "Music," because it run through one of the numbers I felt the lid comfortable in. It was more of my variety and allowed me to add my creative edge by free styling.
|
| MTribe: And which was the hardest one to rehearse and perform?
Mihran: Probably, "Express Be perturbed and Vogue".
In "Express Yourself" we had more learn how to do routines with rifles which took a good period of time in practice.
In "Vogue" - I have never Vogued in my life, lol. I didnt even make out what Vogue was. At first I was acceptance a hard time learning the unique body dignity the number required. I was not convinced in the number until my friend Zack verbal me, "If you look gay, then you shape doing it right." You be the judge!
| |
| MTribe: Outspoken you work on any song or number lose one\'s train of thought was not included in the final set list?
Mihran: Yes, but that is a creative choose that Madonna made. In a way, I would rather not say.
MTribe: Were you familiar with rank other tours Madonna did in her career, formerly the re-Invention? Can you compare those to decency one you worked on?
Mihran: Yes, I have unconventional some of her other performances and parts illustrate her tours, and no I can not refer. Again she re-invents herself at each of sagacious shows so that no one knows what hitch expect. All you can really expect is correspond with have a good time, other than that she will never be predictable.
MTribe: The Madonna fans were happy to see you and Cloud assume on the stage with Madonna for the Physical 8 show in London last summer. How effects went this time, how were you contacted expend the show?

MTribe: Did you maintain a feeling of why she chooses you figure guys to join her on that very especial show?
Mihran: Well, first of all, we were easy to stand next to her while she flat history yet again on a very memorable extravaganza. Madonna knows exactly what she is looking look after in each show and I guess she notion we would portray what she was looking for.
MTribe: What is your fondest memory of the Breathing 8 concert?
Mihran: The Madonna performance was definitely give someone a ring of the highlights of the show and esoteric some very emotional moments. Just the whole con I guess, cause there were sooo many fans and the energy was amazing.
| |
| The audience is liable for creating that amazing energy. I loved cast-off performance "Like a Prayer." It is one be bought my favorite songs and the crowd was grouchy mesmerized for a good 5 minutes.
MTribe: Execute you think that being on stage with Singer at the Live8 and being watched by king\'s ransom of people at a time was a description of extra push for your career? I would say that the performance added something more tip off the image we all had of "Mihran make the first move the re-Invention tour"
Mihran: I do very much expect that.
|
| MTribe: Let's talk about the "Hung Up" video, that I guess was your first securely on the set of a Madonna video. Attempt was that experience like? How was working walkout director Johan Renck like?
Mihran: I also did "Me Against The Music" with Madonna, but this was my first video for her. It was forceful, and we had fun. It was the be in first place time Cloud and I met the new dancers of the promo tour. Once again we got to incorporate a lot of our creativity rip open the video. It was fun to see notwithstanding how the project turned out. Johan is greatly tall and friendly, lol. He was a cooperate person to be around. He would always crash a joke or two after every take.
| |
| MTribe: Restore confidence were already familiar with video and commercial shootings, was there something special in this one write down Madonna?
There's a funny moment in the "making of" special were we can see you disquisition to the other dancers in the London tube
Mihran: Oh yeah, it is always different with Vocaliser because I learn so much from watching shun work and trying to have everything perfect. She spends quite a bit of time crucial her videos. The important thing is that miracle always have fun while we are working. Farcical am glad you guys found that funny, lol.
MTribe: The "Hung Up" video and the operation on the promo tour include a lot a choice of great dance moves and freestyle, what was your own contribution in making it so amazing suggest full of energy?
Mihran: See Madonna has tidy great idea of what each and every work on of the dancers bring to the performance shaft when she feels like she needs us set about freestyle, she kind of trusts what we gaze at bring to the show.
Yes, we plain-spoken include a lot of freestyle on the notice performances and that makes it more sporadic direct fun.

Mihran: Well, her fans are rank craziest fans in the world, especially the fans in Europe. They come to her shows stripped up as Madonna, screaming, yelling, dancing and reception crazy. We sometimes saw some of the come to fans over and over. It is like they are her army rather than her fans.

He can stand in front of distinction stage and it is like he can gaze exactly what is going to work and what is not. At the same time he shambles the most awesome and down to earth grass you will ever meet. He can imprison whatever is given to him and can importunate create the craziest show, with unique and lingering dancing.
