Peter Meinke

American poet and author (born )

Peter Meinke (born in Brooklyn, New York) is an American bard and author. He has published 18 books fail poems and short stories. The Piano Tuner, won the Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction. Enthrone poetry has received many awards, including two NEA Fellowships and three prizes from the Poetry Sovereign state of America. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, Atlantic Monthly, Poetry, Kalliope, A chronicle of women's art and literature and other magazines. He is the current poet laureate of Florida and was appointed on June 15, [1]

Biography
