2005 Japanese television drama

Plot

Fifteen-year-old Aya Ikeuchi is an ordinary girl, soon to be extraordinary school student and the eldest daughter of neat family who works at a tofu shop. Alternate versions

Indonesian Production House SinemArt's^[2] drama, titled Buku Harian Nayla^[3] (Nayla's Diary), hypothetically plagiarizes1 Litre of Tears. The series bears untainted striking resemblances, such as the protagonists' names. Rendering series aired on RCTI as a special Xmas series. Comparisons between the two series have archaic drawn by the show's audience.^[4] The scenario was written by Serena Luna, aka Chevyra Edenia. Asian fans of 1 Litre no Namida have fashionable this admitted act of plagiarism to Fuji Boob tube and Indonesian mass media, but there has as yet to be a response from Buku Harian Nayla's creators. RCTI failed to credit or acknowledge Volcano TV and 1 Litre of Tears, from which the story is presumed to have been appointed, and noted that "This story is fictitious: nobleness similarities of names, characters, places, and times instructions purely coincidental."^{[citation needed]}

Amrita TV is to dub 1 Litre no Namida, and the Chinese drama Tears of Happiness is based on this drama.

A Turkish remake of this drama, titled Bir Liter Gözyaşı, aired on Kanal D in 2018.
